Full or part time position for Ohio licensed Acupuncturist, Cleveland, Ohio

Our integrative medical practice in the Ohio City neighborhood of Cleveland , Ohio has an opening for a full or part time Acupuncturist.  We would prefer full time but are open to both options depending on the candidate and their qualifications.   We are a private practice that focuses on physical medicine and rehabilitation , we've had acupuncturists as part of our team since 2017.  Full time starting salary range is from 82K to 125k,  and hourly pay range for part time would be $45-70.   

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Ohio State Medical or Chiropractic Board Licensed Acupuncturist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care and pain management, utilizing acupuncture techniques to promote healing and well-being. This role requires excellent interpersonal skills, a solid understanding of anatomy and physiology, and the ability to perform thorough patient assessments.

Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine individual treatment plans.

  • Administer acupuncture treatments with precision, focusing on acute pain management and trigger point therapy.

  • Perform physical examinations and utilize medical terminology effectively in patient documentation.

  • Maintain a high standard of patient service by ensuring a comfortable environment and addressing patient concerns.

  • Employ aseptic techniques to ensure safety during treatments.

  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care for patients.

  • Educate patients on treatment options, self-care strategies, and lifestyle modifications to enhance recovery.

  • Stay updated on advancements in acupuncture practices and pain management techniques.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in acute pain management and trigger point therapy preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology essential for effective communication with patients and colleagues.

  • Excellent patient assessment skills with the ability to perform thorough physical examinations.
