We are committed to raising awareness of acupuncture and Oriental Medicine as a viable and safe treatment option and as a complement to traditional medicine.
About Us
We formed in 2002 to give acupuncturists in Ohio a voice.
We have helped grow our profession in Ohio through new legislation to license Oriental Medicine practitioners through work to get more insurance providers including medicaid to cover acupuncture, and through public awareness campaigns.
Today, we focus on collaboration and community between acupuncturists in Ohio empowering each other in our careers and in the professional development of our peers. We aim to increase awareness of Acupuncture and TCM to the public, provide support for Ohio acupuncturists in their careers, and raise funds to further political power for our industry.

Annual Symposium
The OAA Annual Symposium often provides CEU credits while bringing together members of the OAA for a day of engagement, collaboration, and learning.

Continuing Education Trainings
Continuing Education Trainings allow our acupuncturists across Ohio to learn different techniques, modalities, and approaches from others across the world.

General Meetings
